Summary of Donations to British Heart Foundation

Eleanor was born with a heart defect. She had one of the first ever heart valve replacements at the age of 17 in 1954. She went on to have a further three heart valve replacements during her lifetime and continued to amaze and defy her doctors, who said if she had children it would kill her. She went on to have two, and five grandchildren! She was an active fundraising volunteer of the British Heart Foundation.
