This site is a tribute to Elizabeth 'Eleanor' Turner, who was born in Easington, County Durham on May 11, 1937, the sister of Basil and Marian, and her younger brother David (with a family tradition of being called by their middle names). She is much loved and will always be remembered for her zest for life.

Thoughts
We met Eleanor at the Misson french group where she was a loyal member for over twenty years. She was always elegant and beautiful, both inside and out. An amazing cook and hostess she delighted the group at at every party she contributed. The village lost a wonderful couple when they moved south but their memory will live on. Hélène and John.
