Eleanor was a fabulous cook, with a reputation for her delicious cakes and desserts.
Long before her Cordon Bleu training, I remember taking in a Chocolate Pavlova
decorated with Milk Tray chocolates for my Primary School Harvest
Festival. The school was so impressed with her creation that they decided on a special auction for it and for weeks
afterwards she was inundated with requests from friends who had been out-bid at
the auction.
